Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedian more commonly known as ‘Ali G’ is being sued by a women who claims he attacked her in a bingo hall in California.  The attack which happened two years ago left her in a wheelchair.

Cohen was bingo caller at the charity bingo game for the elderly in California in the guise of his ‘Bruno’ character.  He is alleged to have offensively touched, pushed and battered Richelle Olson when she tried to grab the microphone as she was offended by Cohen’s rude language. From Wednesday 13th May to Saturday 16th May, the latest Foxy Bingo cruise took place. About 130 bingo players set sail aboard the P & O ‘Pride of Bilbao’ cruise ship from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Spain and then back again. This was the first time the Foxy Bingo cruise headed to Spain as previous trips had been to France and Belgium.

The cruise featured top entertainment including some live music, karaoke and game shows to complement the games of bingo. A Yorkshireman has invented a new take on the normal game of bingo. 31 year-old mark Walsh from Leeds has patented Rock n Roll Bingo. The new game differs from conventional bingo as song titles and artists are used on bingo cards instead of numbers.  Also instead of a bingo caller calling out the numbers, parts of songs are played and if the song matches one of the songs on their bingo card then they need to mark it off.
