A Yorkshireman has invented a new take on the normal game of bingo. 31 year-old mark Walsh from Leeds has patented Rock n Roll Bingo. The new game differs from conventional bingo as song titles and artists are used on bingo cards instead of numbers.  Also instead of a bingo caller calling out the numbers, parts of songs are played and if the song matches one of the songs on their bingo card then they need to mark it off. After deciding not to ban the Foxy Bingo ad the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has taken a different approach to an ad by another online bingo operator – Wink Bingo.

It has decided to ban the ad which featured a nurse celebrating winning at Wink Bingo with a trolley next to her containing surgical equipment and a laptop displaying the message, ‘Wink Bingo Winner’ on its screen.  Behind the nurse was a surprised man holding a teddy bear and you can also see the legs of a woman lying in bed about to give birth under a sign which reads “Find the appropriate moment.”

Now personally I would not be quick to associate the like of Pavarotti with online bingo. Can you imagine him as a bingo caller; will most certainly draw attention I think. Of course Opera Bingo is not directly related nor does it have anything to do with opera, but the name does the trick of drawing people’s attention, well it worked for me.

Upon opening 32Red Bingo I found that it was a very brightly coloured bingo site , so I was immediately drawn in by a warm vibe. There were plenty of funny icons, interesting games showing pictures of smiling players. Everything looked very happy and pleasant.
